The Mason Sylvester brand strives to present style from a different point of view. With every look, the designer aims to paint a picture of confidence, sophistication and distinctiveness. The endeavor is to make every look just as bold and confident as the man wearing it. Mason Sylvester does not aim to outfit the ordinary. Looks are created for the standout and the truly outstanding.

The pieces are hand crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. The cutting-edge style suits the young, urban professional looking to spice up their wardrobe and live creatively.

Mason Sylvester’s goal is simple – to create longevity in the fashion world by becoming a recognizable name. The goal is to be the first name thought of regarding inventive menswear. The designer understands the value of hard work and intends to climb to the top, one look at a time.

Who is Mason?

Designing and creating has always been on the short list of Mason’s passions. A native of Charlotte, North Carolina and an educational product of Howard University in Washington, DC, he has always dared to be different. After unsuccessfully attempting to find a brand that was sophisticated while expressing his individuality in college, he decided to make his own accessories. People took notice. It was then that he had a vision for his own men’s line that would merge elegance with cutting-edge style for emerging young professionals like him.

His first collection debut in the fall of 2007 was well received.   Armed with the assurance that his brand had the potential for staying power, he took some time to fully develop his new collection. Like any artist, Lowry is both expanding and refining his craft and intends to make his mark in menswear. He has had the pleasure of designing for a variety of clients ranging from emerging professionals to A-list celebrities.  In 2012, Lowry relocated to New York City to further build his name and his brand. His goal is to establish a groundbreaking menswear clothing line, crafted to appeal to individuals across all ethnic, economic, and geographic platforms.

Listed in the official Fashion Week Calendar, Mason Sylvester has debuted collections in New York Fashion Week since 2011. Over the last five years, Mason Sylvester pieces have been available both online and in Caramel Boutique located in Washington, DC. In June 2012, Mason Sylvester received the Best Ready to Wear Menswear at the Fashion Awards in Maryland.

While continuing to build the brand, the designer has worked with celebrity stylists such as Misa Hylton and celebrities such as Fonzworth Bentley have worn his pieces. In addition, Mason and his work have been seen on television networks such as New York’s PIX11, VH1, and HBO. In addition, the menswear brand has been featured in numerous publications and editorial spreads including GQ, Jet Magazine, HUF Magazine, and numerous fashion and entertainment blogs and vlogs that have all praised the Mason Sylvester designs. It is this overwhelmingly positive feedback that has proven that there is room in the market for innovative brands such as Mason Sylvester, whose vision is to create exquisite handcrafted pieces with fine tailoring, vibrant colors, striking contrast, rich fabrics, and distinctive flavor that will set him apart from the rest.
